Pivot Lens

Set your profile once, then choose the scheme your last bid went to and the one you're aiming for next. Pivot Lens shows which parts of your bid core carry over and which need reframing, writing from scratch or cutting, plus the rules that decide whether the move is allowed.

Simplified rules. The eligibility check is a shortlisting aid, not a ruling. “Years since your PhD” is one band, but funders count from different dates (ERC from your defence, Leverhulme from viva submission, the Royal Academy of Engineering and Royal Society from the award) and some allow extensions for career breaks. Always confirm against the funder's eligibility rules and your Research Office before you start writing.

Eligibility results simplify each funder's rules, including how time since PhD is counted; double-check them in the official call documents. Every fact links to the funder's own page or call document. Emphasis levels and actions are an adviser's reading of each scheme's published assessment criteria, not funder scores. Where a funder sets a figure only in its call template (for example MSCA criterion weights or Horizon Europe page limits), Pivot Lens names the document to check instead of quoting a number.
